I just wanted to write and say a HUGE thank you to all of you at Pet Resort. Working from home, I can't devote the time I would like to Alfie, and I know that he absoltely LOVES going to you guys. The pick up and drop off service is fantastic, he comes home exhausted, is extremely well socialised and is quite the happy chappy.

You all do such a great job. Amazing service.

Our two daughters Vespa and Chloe are beautiful girls. They are so used to sleeping, eating and playing together. It is so nice to have a place that they can continue to be together. That is why we drive three and a half hours to let them board at the Newcastle Pet Resort.
They have been here lots of times and we are happy that they are loved.
THey are happy to say hello to us when we go to pick them up, but then they just want to go back inside. Its so nice to find a place were dogs can be dogs and run and play with all their friends.
Its also a nice suprise when they don't smell so much like dogs when you pick them up (hydor bath GOOD!).
So a big thank you to all the staff and puppy friends at Newcastle Pet Resort from Chloe and Vespa (and their sub serviant mummy and daddy!)

We would like to thank you for taking great care of our little puppy Jaz. It was her first time boarding and we will definitely be back. All the staff we met were very caring and friendly.We were also very impressed that she was cleaned before we picked her up. She has come back a very happy little pup so we know she had a great time!

We found Newcastle Pet Resort 18months ago while looking for holiday boarding for Alfred the Beagle & we have not looked back. He has had holiday stays & he goes to doggy day care.
When you say to him "Are you going to see Lou & the girls?" his ears twitch, the tail starts wagging & you can see the excitement on his face. As soon as he hears the bus pull up in the morning his at the door busting to go and theres no looking back.
They have given us training tips and we always hes in good hands.

Great job guys!!!! Your Pet Resort is a wonderful idea. after a few horror stories for us with trying to find a suitable boarding kennel we finally found yours. Everytime we have boarded our Chay at your resort, she returns home in a relaxed and happy state... this is such peace of mind. I never hesitate to recommend your resort to others. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby :)

I wanted to mention that you guys work wonders there! I took Giz and Addie to a doggy park near where I live and while we were there a lady came with her 3 dogs (various sizes) and they were both so well behaved (not that Addie was that much of a problem to start with). I never expected to see that much of a change in Giz after only 3 visits.
Tell all those involved with their care that I love their work!

Hi Lou, Just letting you know the Charlie had a wonderful time with you. Totally exhausted, but no other ill effects as when he was last kennelled elsewhere. Thank you for taking such great care of him and he will be back in the future.

I would like to say a big thanks to Lou and the team for such a great job they do. We moved up from Melbourne where Buddy had a very social life but living up here there aren't any off leash dog areas to play with other dogs and thankfully I found out about Newcastle Pet Resort. Buddy has been going to doggy daycare for a couple of months and recently had his first 'holiday'. He now runs up to the van in the mornings when he is picked up and jumps straight in! He comes home exhausted and goes straight to his bed. I know he has had a big day playing when he snores. So I had no hesitation to leave him at the Resort for a week while I went away. My brother now also sends his dog to day care and he mentioned it to a neighbour and they now send their dog. It is amazing how the socialising helps with their behaviour. When we walk our dogs and go camping they are much more calm. Thanks again Newcastle Pet Resort!!

Just wanted to thank Meg and Lou and staff for looking after our dearly loved Rotty Jetta. Jetta needs daily medication morning and night and we wouldn't trust her with any other kennel. The service is impeccable and the facilities are outstanding. The team at Newcastle Pet Resort do really care about your animals and Jetta is always returned back freshly washed and in great shape. Thank you for providing such a great service and looking after our girl, we can relax more knowing she is in such great hands. Woof Woof x

We cannot speak highly enough of the benefits we have experienced in the short time our three year old staffy, Indy, has been going to the Newcastle Pet Resort. Indy has only recently joined our family with an unknown history and, due to experiences so far, we were preparing ourselves to be managing a dog with significant anxiety to social interaction with other dogs that led to unfavourable behaviour. We were concerned that leaving Indy at the resort would create stress not only for her but also for the staff looking after her. We were overwhelmed with happiness when we picked her up after a two day stay. We came home with a dog that showed a huge improvement in self confidence around other dogs, which also made things like the usual routine of walking so much easier. Further progress is still needed but we have a lot more hope and direction for improving her social skills and comfort. Indy is now a regular attender for the doggy day care, which we have to say is an unbelievably good service. We could not give this testimonial without mention of the staff at the Newcastle Pet Resort. From the first time we arrived our minds were put at ease with the capability of the staff members. Their generosity with their time to provide information and support to help our situation was second to none! To put it simply, the Newcastle Pet Resort has changed all our lives so much for the better. We cannot thank Lou, Megan and the staff enough!

I have had a new lease on life since my owners discovered NPR which I attend regularly. From being quite neurotic and anxious, (some might even say aggressive), I am now quite transformed, after only three months. I will now ride in a vehicle, I am obedient, (I usually sit when instructed and don't try to attack every other dog I see). I am much more socialised, especially with "little guys" and my coat shines as I now love having regular baths. I was very difficult at first but Lou's wisdom and well-structured program soon sorted me out. When I get home from Play School I collapse with exhaustion and happiness and I dream about my next action-filled day when I put on my "play pants", jump in the bus and run with my new play buddies. Thank you so much for looking after my Beagle pup "sherlock". I was hospitalised and was panicking about his care. Ive picked up a very content, happy and much better behaved little dog. I dont know what you do with them there, but it works. I think he was keen to stay. A great relief to me....thank you so much.

WE HAVE LEFT OUR SPOILT ELDERLY BULL TERRIER WITH THE KENNELS ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS, MOSTLY FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS AT A TIME, REALLY IT IS A "HOLIDAY CAMP' AND THE PROFESSIONAL CARE AND ATTENTION GIVEN IS UNIQUE, MILLIE IS PART OF OUR FAMILY AND WE WOULDN'T LEAVE HER ANYWHERE ELSE TO BE 'LOCKED UP' AS MOST OTHER KENNELS DO - SHE IS FREE TO ROAM AROUND AND OBVIOUSLY LOVES HER HOLIDAYS THERE. WE ALSO ARE CONFIDENT TO RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.

Firstly I must say I can't speak highly enough of Newcastle Pet Resort. The staff are unbelievable and their passion and professionalism to their four legged bundles of joy is of the highest standard. I have a very fussy Malamute (Nikita) and Husky (Koda) who just adore Lou and go crazy with excitement every time they see her. Newcastle Pet Resort for Nikita and Koda is home away from home and they really do enjoy their short and long term stays. Don't waste your time and effort shopping around, Newcastle Pet Resort really is the BEST!!!

Hey Newcastle Pet Resort, Just a short note to say how fantastic and happy Diesel & Indy were with their holiday. They even sulked on returning home they had so much fun and we enjoyed our holiday even more knowing that they were having a fun holiday as well. Diesel & Indy will be returning for another holiday soon.

Does your dog rush to get out of the car to get in to your boarding kennel? Well ours does.

We drive 50 km to get to Newcastle Pet Resort and our pampered dog has stayed there for day care, overnight or on long stays. He just loves it!

Why? Probably because of all of the tender loving care he gets from Lou, Megan and their staff and all of the friends he makes with the dogs he meets on each visit, including a lot of other regular canine visitors.

This really is the safest and most pleasant place to leave your dog. You can go away happy and confident that they are in the best of care and more importantly that they are having just the greatest time. No they are not just boarding they’re on vacation!

As regular clients of Newcastle Pet resort we can only say how happy we are with the service. Harley, our basset hound is just over the top and I am sure would fully agree.

We picked up our Staffy, Eddie, today after a few days at your kennels. We were so impressed with not only your facilities, but the excellent service we received (the pick up and drop off to the airport is great!). Eddie will definitely be staying again! Thank you for looking after Eddie for us.

Tanner is our 5th dally and we were determined to do things differently this time with, socialisation a d boarding. We had never boarded any of our other dogs so we were anxious to find just the right place.

I phoned up to make some enquiries about doggy day care and from that first call I knew this was the right place for us and Tanner.

I took Tanner to day care and he obviously loves being there as everyday from then on he would run to the car when I went to work hoping that he was coming too.

Tanner has had several sleep overs and he is always exhausted when we pick him up.

Doggy day care has developed us a very social dog that we can take anywhere.

When we went to adolescent training the trainer commented on how well socialised Tanner is and that he was one of the best Dallies she had seen. We attribute that to the “leader of the pack” Lou. All the hard work she and her staff put in each day ensuring the dogs are well socialised and behaving appropriately.

Thank you Megan and Lou for a great facility, which means we can have the odd trip away to refresh, knowing Tanner is having a great time too.
